HB Artist Series: The Faculty in Performance
The 2022-2023 HB Artist Faculty Performance Series continues with flutist Donna Elaine, pianists Rie Matsumoto and Eleonora Rotshteyn, guitarist Andrew Marino, and violinist Lani King Chang performing works by Richard Strauss, Manuel Ponce, Carlo Domeniconi and Astor Piazzolla. The HB Compose Yourself! Project is Hoff-Barthelson’s annual composition Master Class for young composers, directed by HBMS faculty member Derek Cooper and produced in collaboration with Copland House. The HB Compose Yourself! Project provides a rare opportunity for students to receive feedback from renowned, award-winning composers on works that they have written.
