The Friends of Hoff-Barthelson is a parent and volunteer association for the Music School. The Friends organization assists with events throughout the year that nurture a supportive and welcoming environment, create opportunities for community involvement for families and students alike, and enable the School to support faculty and provide programming of the highest caliber.
Annual events in 2019-20 include Welcome Day and the Annual Faculty/Staff Dinner (September), the Holiday Music Festival (December), and the Elaine Stamas Educational Residency with Members of the New York Philharmonic (March) and Spring Benefit (April).
Members are also active as ambassadors who connect the School with the broader community and advocate for the importance of high quality music education and the many benefits it provides.
Participation in Friends activities is an excellent way to get to know other HBMS parents, families, faculty and staff, and to help nurture a positive learning environment for all of our students.
