During their lively and interactive discussion, composer Ke-Chia Chen and Hoff-Barthelson Music School Music of Our Time Festival director Peter Seidenberg, will explore the impetus of Chen’s new work Three Eastern Episodes, commissioned by HBMS, the work’s development, and preparations for its world premiere by an HBMS Student Cello Sextet at the Music of Our Time Large Ensembles Concert on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
