Elaine Stamas Chamber Music Residency
The Elaine Stamas Chamber Music Residency gives HBMS student ensembles the opportunity to perform for musicians of the New York Philharmonic who share their comprehensive knowledge of ensemble playing with these young musicians, guiding them to a higher understanding of technique, musicianship and musical style. Join us for an exciting afternoon of chamber music performed by musicians from the New York Philharmonic as part of the School's Elaine Stamas Chamber Music Residency. The program includes Schumann’s String Quartet Op. 41, No. 2 in F, the Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia for violin and bass; and Brahms’ Piano Trio Op. 87, No. 2 in C.
