Commended by the Times in New York and London, Emily White has appeared in recital at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium and Weill Hall, London’s Wigmore Hall and South Bank Centre, the Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh, Saint David’s Hall in Cardiff, the Palais de l’Athénée in Geneva, and in Eastern Europe and Asia, as well as the United States and Canada.

Her albums on Arabesque include Szymanowski Piano Works, Brahms’s Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major with the Sudeten Philharmonic in Poland, and American Collection, available on Apple Music, Spotify, and on CD. She has performed as concerto soloist with the Oltenia Philharmonic in Romania, National Orchestral Institute in Maryland, Brooklyn Symphony, Lake Forest Symphony in Illinois, and Lambeth Orchestra in London.

The first American sponsored by the LSO for postgraduate study at the Royal Academy of Music, Dr. White earned the Recital Diploma, the Queen’s Commendation for Excellence, and Associateship of the Royal Academy, as well as top prizes at the Tunbridge Wells International Competition (U.K.), the International Mozart Competition (Austria), and the Chopin Competition of Greater New York. She has given master classes in Hong Kong, Bucharest, Texas (SMU and UTSA), Miami (New World School), and Colchester, U.K. As a collaborative artist, she has worked as official pianist for the Music Mountain Festival, the Berkshire Music Festival at Tanglewood, and the Gubbio Festival in Italy. Her teachers have included Sascha Gorodnitzki, Christopher Elton, Solomon Mikowsky, Nelita True, Margo Garrett, Samuel Sanders, and Martin Katz.
