Springtime brings renewal, creativity, and brighter days. Poetry and jazz both bring flexibility, empathy, and comfort to the forefront.
The Scarsdale Public Library and the Hoff-Barthelson Music School invite you to a Sunday afternoon of poetry and jazz. Come listen to poetry and songs that are playful and joyous, that challenge and uplift us. In unsettled and anxious times we are asked to hold both milk and tears, joy and despair. They emerge from the same source and are the gateway to what sustains us.
The event will showcase local Scarsdale poets and the Hoff-Bathelson Music School Adult Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Ed Palermo.
