Hoff-Barthelson’s Instrument Clubs bring students of all ages and skill levels into vibrant, supportive ensembles where they can deepen their skills, explore great repertoire, and connect with fellow musicians who share their passion. Led by expert faculty, each club meets weekly and performs throughout the year at School events and festivals.
Junior Flute Club (Grades 1–7)
Young flutists performing at NYSSMA Level 1–4 join forces in this fun, skill-building ensemble. With a focus on developing ensemble techniques and musical confidence, Junior Flute Club is the perfect place to grow while making music with friends.
Flute Club (Grades 8–12)
For advanced flutists (NYSSMA Level 5–6), this group tackles exciting repertoire and challenges students to refine technique, listen deeply, and lead with confidence. Students also mentor younger players, strengthening their own skills through peer collaboration.
Adult Flute Choir (Ages 18 and up)
Designed for adult flutists seeking a creative and social outlet, the Adult Flute Choir explores a wide range of repertoire and offers meaningful performance opportunities. The ensemble collaborates with youth ensembles for Flute Plus!, an annual celebration of the flute featuring performances, guest artists, and premieres of new works.
