Dylan Wolf is a New York–based composer whose work explores the expressive potential of miniature forms, crafting concentrated bursts of dense, volatile musical material. Often described as “crystal-like (showing new light each angle they’re looked at,” these musical movements—which he refers to as moments in time—distill whole landscapes into sharply defined, intimate frames.
He earned his Master’s in Composition from the Manhattan School of Music (2025), where he studied with Reiko Füting, and his Bachelor of Music from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign (2023), studying under Stephen Taylor.
His work has been recognized with the Tactus Commission Prize (2024) and the Giampaolo Bracali Award for Music Composition (2025).
