Laura Barnet studied Dalcroze Eurhythmics with Ruth Alperson and Ann Farber, and is a certified Dalcroze Eurhythmics teacher. She received a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Paul Kantor and Stephen Shipps. She continued violin studies in New York with Isaac Malkin, while earning a Master of Arts degree from St. Vladimir’s Seminary, focusing on composition and conducting, and now studies Irish Fiddle with Brian Conway. Laura has completed Suzuki violin training through book 8, studying with Nancy Dexter, Amy Rosen, and Susan Baer. She also maintains a private violin studio.
