James Warner Duquette is a composer and teacher. He has worked with ensembles and performers including Les Percussions de Strasbourg, ASKO Schönberg, the Talea Ensemble, the Mivos Quartet, the ETHEL Quartet, Peter Sheppard Skærved, Noise Catalogue, and Rob Schwimmer.

Duquette studied composition with Michael Hersch at the Peabody Institute and with Reiko Füting at the Manhattan School of Music. He studied Raga with La Monte Young and Michael Harrison.
