A seasoned teacher and performer, Claire Bright has been playing violin since the age of nine. She has performed as part of the Bethlehem Bach Festival for the past 35 years. She holds a full studio of violin students both at the Hoff-Barthelson Music School and from her home. In the past she has performed with the Long Island Philharmonic, Concordia Chamber Orchestra, Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of New England, Fairfield Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Connecticut. Claire has also participated in summer festivals including the Vermont Mozart Festival, the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and the Aspen Music Festival.

A graduate of the Juilliard School of Music, Claire received her BM and MM studying with the famous pedagogue, Joseph Fuchs. She furthered her studies with Hamao Fujiwara and Burton Kaplan. She is also a qualified Suzuki Violin Method teacher having completed a two-year training course at the School for Strings in New York City.
