Licentiate, Trinity College of London

Violinist Peggy Klinger, a native of South Africa, has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber player in concerts and recitals in South Africa, England and the US.  She made her debut at age 15 with a major orchestra in South Africa, and was a frequent soloist with the South African Broadcasting Corp.  A recipient of South Africa’s Elizabeth Allen Scholarship for study abroad, she continued her violin studies in London with Max Rostal, where she received a Licentiate from Trinity College London.  In London, she was a member of the Morley String Trio and the London Mozart Players.  Ms. Klinger also appeared regularly on the BBC as a member of the London Chamber Orchestra.  She has performed in many recitals in the New York area, and was a member of the Putnam and Westchester Concert Society for three years.

Ms. Klinger has taught at the London College of Music, and at the Music Conservatory of Westchester for fifteen years.  She has been a member of the Hoff-Barthelson Faculty since 1991, and manages a busy private teaching schedule.
