In addition to her teaching at Hoff-Barthelson, Meg Hill is Managing Director and co-founder of Music at Port Milford, chamber music festival and summer school. With a violin performance degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Suzuki Training with Louise Behrend/School for Strings and a graduate degree in teaching from C.U.N.Y, Meg has nurtured generations of musicians through her work in public schools, her private teaching studio, and her unwavering commitment to serving as Managing Director of Music at Port Milford for over 30 years. Meg’s work combines her talents as an educator and community builder with her artistic vision, vast knowledge of the chamber music literature, and her respect for the unique gift and learning style of each of her students.
