The Open House presents a great opportunity for wind, brass and percussion students to meet Mr. Piscitelli, learn more about the ensemble and even read through some music with other participants. Bring your instruments!

Led by Maestro Piscitelli, the Wind Ensemble is for intermediate to advanced (NYSSMA Level 3 and above) woodwind, brass, and percussion players in grades 6-12. The Ensemble performs at the School’s Holiday Music Festival (December 4), Baroque and Beyond Festival (March 19) and at a Final Concert (May 3). Repertoire spans Baroque and Classical transcriptions, classic band repertoire as well as Broadway and popular hits. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from 7:15-8:45 pm throughout the year; on occasion, additional sectional rehearsals may be added.
