RING Outreach Recitals

The Friends participate in the Hoff-Barthelson Music School outreach program through its sponsorship of the RING recitals. RING recitals, a series of informal programs held at nearby community facilities such as children’s hospitals, retirement communities and nursing homes, give HBMS students the unique opportunity to perform for people young and old who might not otherwise have the pleasure of hearing live music or seeing young people perform.

Students benefit from the performing experience while they learn a valuable lesson about the significance of social services. Many academic schools give community service credits to students who participate in the HBMS RING concerts.
